about me

My name is Valeri. I've been teaching middle school math, including Algebra 1 for 25+ years. I love to share the tools and tips I rely on to boost student engagement, ensure conceptual understanding, and save teachers time in the classroom.

Outside of teaching, I’m a mom to two teenage boys, and my husband (who’s also a teacher!) and I love spending time outdoors as a family, hiking, biking, and traveling when we can. We spend summers in Barcelona visiting his family and soaking up the sun and culture.

I am so glad you are here!
